Mr. Viktor Bereziouk
Biography
Mr. Viktor Bereziouk is proud to serve as Assistant Principal of Andersen Elementary School. Mr. Bereziouk joined the Pacific West District from New York City’s Department of Education, where he began his career as an educator. His first assignment was at the Bailey K. Ashford Elementary School where he established a blended learning model along with new instructional practices. The effective use of technology allowed students to experience 21st century learning and helped narrow the digital divide in the community he served. His next assignment was at the Henry Bristow Elementary School where he established a robust STEM program and ignited a passion for the sciences in grades K-5. At both of his assignments, he held multiple leadership roles and worked with all stakeholders to bring academic success to his students.
Mr. Bereziouk received a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology from New York University. He later obtained two Master of Science degrees from Brooklyn College in Childhood Education and Educational Leadership, respectively.
Mr. Bereziouk served eight years in the US Army Reserve. He was awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal for his work with an international task force. Mr. Bereziouk is joined by his wife, their daughter, and golden doodle. He enjoys outdoor activities, woodcarving, and is a cybersecurity enthusiast.
