Mr. Christopher Nance

Mr. Nance and his wife Lisa are extremely excited about this opportunity to return to Guam and the Andersen community. Mr. Nance began his DoDEA career as a Computer Science and Video Production teacher at Andersen Middle School in 2010. In 2012, he relocated to Wiesbaden Middle School in Wiesbaden, Germany, where he served as department chair and was an instrumental member of the faculty when WMS was recognized as both a National Blue Ribbon and Green Ribbon school. For the past eight years, Mr. Nance has served the military families of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina as a Math Teacher at Brewster Middle School. While at BMS, he has held numerous leadership positions to include the Continuous School Improvement Data Committee, Master Scheduling Committee, Student Support Team, and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports Team. Prior to joining DoDEA, Mr. Nance taught high school math in North Carolina public schools.

Mr. Nance is a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Master’s Degree in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Mr. Nance is a strong advocate for community involvement in our schools and strives to enhance stakeholder engagement through communication and participation in community activities.

Mr. Nance and his wife Lisa are the parents of four adult sons: Josh, Christopher, Dylan, and Ben. Mr. and Mrs. Nance enjoy an active lifestyle including hiking and numerous water activities. The couple is accompanied on Guam by their two fur babies, Jax and Ari.

Andersen Elementary School looks forward to welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Nance to the Dolphin family in late January 2024.
