Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!

On behalf of the entire staff at Andersen Elementary School (AES), I am delighted to welcome both our returning and new families to another exciting year of learning. As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, we proudly embrace the DoDEA values of Education. Service. Patriotism. Excellence. These principles guide our work each day as we prepare students for success in school and in life.

At Andersen Elementary School, we are honored to serve military-connected students and families from across our nation. We take great pride in our country, in the service and sacrifice of our military families, and in the privilege of living on the beautiful island of Guam. Together, we celebrate the rich culture, history, and community that make our island home such a special place to learn and grow.

Through DoDEA's Blueprint for Continuous Improvement, our combined efforts, knowledge, experiences, and energy will continue to provide the best possible education for every student. The AES staff looks forward to partnering with our students and families to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where all children can achieve their highest potential.

Parental support remains essential to student success and is always valued and welcomed at AES. We encourage each of you to become actively involved in your child's education through classroom volunteering, participation in our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), school events, and other opportunities throughout the year. By working hand in hand toward the common goal of student achievement, we strengthen our school-home-community partnership and create meaningful learning experiences for every child.
